EDI - Electronic Data Interchange
EDI provides a direct electronic connection between customers and suppliers. EDI uses standardized formats to allow for the transmission of many business documents: Purchase orders, Acknowledgments, Customer Forecast and Inventory Information, Advance Shipping Notices, Bills of Lading, Test Reports, and Invoices

VMI
VMI - Vendor Managed Inventory
VMI allows Leavitt-Tube to manage our customer’s inventory. This is accomplished by the customer providing their forecast, on hand, on order and minimum required on hand quantity to Leavitt-Tube. Leavitt-Tube will then use this information to schedule and produce tubing to satisfy the customer’s forecast. Leavitt-Tube can generate purchase orders, if requested, based on the needs of the customer. We offer a variety of VMI programming options from full EDI setup to as simple as an email transaction.
